Wind Wand

The artistic icon of New Plymouth is this Quirky Sculpture that glows at night. A Kinetic Sculpture conceived by Len Lye, and realized by the Len Lye Foundation based on his design. Len Lye is one of New Zealand's most celebrated artists. The wind wand stands on the foreshore of New Plymouth. The 45-meters Red Pole standing tall, it sways mesmerizingly in a gentle breeze & leans over in the strong wind.
